Winston Climbs a Black Mountain

A Monster in the woods. Been a while since we had one of those kinds of movies, eh?
And I don’t mean mutated mountain people, either, I mean a monster. Specifically, a monster created by Stan Winston. Now that’s something to look forward to!
Former Army Ranger Rob Holloway is prepping his screenwriting debut, Black Mountain, and we got a heads up today from reader “Fincraft” that Winston has officially come on board to handle the makeup effects for the film. All we could find out about it is that it’s about a team of Army Rangers coming face to face with a creature while on the titular mountain, and that no director’s been chosen.
According to the film’s IMBD page, R. Lee Ermy is attached to star, along with Lee Arenberg (“Pintel” from the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy), Noel Gugliemi (Wrong Turn) and Martin Klebba (“Marty” from the PoC trilogy). Not a bad lineup for a first feature!
