Weta Lends a Hand to The Home
It’s good to see that, even though they could easily do nothing but work on huge-budgeted films for the rest of their existence, Weta is still willing to help out the little guy when they feel the project is deserving enough.
Such is the case with The Home, which Bloody-Disgusting learned during Comic Con will be the next film Weta will be making monsters and creatures for. The plot follows a firefighter who is sent to a secluded nursing home to try and get past almost being killed. At first he believes the residents are all delusional, but when he witnesses an attack on one of them firsthand, he learns that, indeed, they are being preyed upon by something straight from a nightmare.
Kristoffer Aaron Morgan will be at the helm of The Home with Steven Schneider producing. Schneider is the man behind the upcoming remake of Paranormal Activity, among other horror properties, and with Weta on board you know it’s going to look amazing.
