U.S. Death Note Trailer Online!
The live-action version of the manga Death Note (review) has been around for a couple years now, but where's the American love?
Don't worry, it's coming. Today Fangoria got in the exclusive U.S. trailer for Death Note thanks to Viz Media! Before any purists blow their lids about the English dub, remember that when this film hits stateside it will indeed be subtitled instead.
Death Note is the story of a young man named Light who finds a mysterious journal with the power to kill whoever's name is written in it. While he first uses this new found device to punish the evil people of the world, he is soon corrupted by the Death God, Ryuuk.

I much preferred the anime since they were a lot more extensive and layered, but these movies were great.
