UPDATE: According to Crank scribe Mark Neveldine, Troma's Lloyd Kaufman will have a cameo in Crank 2 along with Gelnn Howard ("It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia") and someone we thought bit the big one in the first film, Efren Ramirez.
Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor made probably one of the most underrated movies of 2006, Crank. It was tasteless, bloody and funny. Sadly, we all thought Chev Chelios (Jason Statham) was a goner when he fell a few thousand feet and smashed into a car.
Buz called in with news from the beautiful Amy Smart to inform us that Chelios is alive, but in dire need of adrenaline to keep his new artificial heart pumping in Crank 2: High Voltage! But more interesting than that is Amy's promise that this sequel is going to up the awesomeness of the Chinatown sex scene with one taking place at a horse track!
Yes, they do intend to top this scene...

Yup, Buz did talk to her directly and I like the robo-heart idea. It's not like Crank can be taken seriously, the film is just a fun bit of testosterone.

By Crank 3, Chev will be encased in armor that's powered by adrenaline, just like Kane from Robocop 2.
