*UPDATE* We just got in the cover art for the new Spider Baby DVD. Take a look to your right and there it is! *UPDATE*
Today we received an e-mail from Elijah Drenner regarding a double dip of Jack Hill’s Spider Baby (AKA Cannibal Orgy). Mr. Drenner is the producer of the new DVD that will be hitting shelves September 25th, and he loaded us up with all the info as to why this dip is worth the purchase.
This version of The Maddest Story Ever Told, released by Dark Sky Films, will include a new audio commentary with Jack Hill and co-star Sid Haig along with these other features:
The Hatching of Spider Baby – a retrospective documentary featuring Hill and co-stars Sid Haig, Quinn Redeker, Beverly Washburn, Karl Schanzer and Mary Mitchel with DP Alfred Taylor, American Cinematheque’s Chris D and Joe Dante.
Spider Stravinsky: The Cinema Sounds of Ronald Stein – a brief documentary on Spider Baby composer Ronald Stein.
The Merrye House Revisited – a featurette with Jack Hill returning to the original house used in the film.
