*UPDATE* Leslie Vernon On The Big Screen

*UPDATE* David Stieve let us know that Behind the Mask will be showing for more than just one day at the Orpheum Theater. Mr. Stieve added, "Just wanted to get you the updated info- the film itself will be playing at the Orpheum for at least a week, maybe two, starting tomorrow night (Fri 13th!). I will only be there for the Q&A/Meet & Greet after the 7pm show, then I hustle off back to Hollywood."

Somehow this grand bit of information stayed hidden until a reader pointed it out to us. Leslie Vernon scribe David Stieve's MySpace Blog informs readers that Behind the Mask will be finally making an appearance in theatres! Ok, it will be in one theatre, but that is better than nothing!

According to Stieve, "Anyway, JULY 13th, 2007, for one amazing night only, I will be at the Orpheum Theater in Madison for the Wisconsin premiere of Behind The Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon. For any friends/strangers reading this who happen to be in the midwest or specifically the great state of Wisconsin, and want to come see the movie in an actual theatre, this is the best (perhaps only) shot you will have.

There will also be a Q&A session with yours truly directly after the 7PM show, if anyone out there has anything they want to ask about the movie, or writing, or how to perform CPR, or whatever... if I don't know the answer, I will make something up so that you feel you've gotten your money's worth."
