Universal Moving Wolfman?
We’re trying to confirm things as we speak, but there are some rumors flying around right now, starting out at Fangoria, that Universal may be moving the release date for Wolfman from April, 2009, to sometime in the fall.
I guess it makes sense since it is a horror movie and they always do better in the fall, but man, I really don’t want to wait that long to see this sucker. Benicio del Toro stars as Larry Talbot, an actor who returns to his homeland and almost immediately gets bitten by a werewolf. Mayhem ensues.
Hopefully we’ll have confirmation one way or the other on this soon, but you guys might as well be prepared for the worst...

You may not remember, but one of the six awards Toby Wilkins’ Splinter took home from Screamfest LA was for Best Musical Score, and I have to concur; the music in this film is very, very cool. You don’t have to take my word for it, though, because now you can get the Splinter soundtrack for yourself!

My first thought was that maybe the transformation effects are taking longer to perfect than originally anticipated so they're pushing it back to a later date just to be on the safe side.

As much as I want to see this as soon as I can I've got to agree that October will be a better release time. I would rather be patient and hope that it will have a greater chance at success
