While we wait (and wait, and wait) for Anchor Bay to give us some final details on their DVD release of Unholy, the long-anticipated horror flick starring Adrienne Barbeau and Nicholas Brendan, seems it will be finding its way to theaters before it invades you home.
The film’s screenwriter just dropped us a line with the news that Unholy will play at New York’s Two Boots’ Pioneer Theater starting the week of August 13th. No word on if anyone involved with the film will be presenting it, but at least you could be one of those elitists who say “yeah, I remember when I saw that in a theater” and confuse everyone around you. Click here to get your tickets now!
Unholy, you may recall, is the story of some strange Nazi experiments being brought back to the forefront by the U.S. military, which is uncovered as a suicide’s mother (Barbeau) and brother (Brendan) probe into just what it was that made the girl blow her brains out. Check out the official Unholy site here for more, and be sure to pre-order the DVD, out September 4th, by clicking here!
