UK Devil Horror

Credo picked up for international sales (click to see it bigger)Ten years ago a group of theology students wanted to prove the existence of Hell by summoning a real live demon. Apparently they either succeeded or did something very wrong (or both) because the next day they were all found dead of an apparent suicide.

Today five kids are thrown out of their flat and break into the now-abandoned Catholic school to get a roof over their heads, only to quickly learn they’re not the only living things in the building.

Such is the premise of Credo, an odd-sounding horror flick from first-time female director Toni Harman, which Variety is reporting has been scooped up for international sales by Moviehouse Entertainment. The pic will be significant to all UK teenage girls or boys with really bad taste in music because of star Stephen Gately, former member of Irish boy band Boyzone (groan).

I have to admit the whole Satanic angle and proving the existence of Hell is intriguing to me, so we’ll keep an eye on this one and see how it progresses. For now you can check out the official Credo site for more info, pics, and (eventually) a trailer.
