Two Sign for Cabin in the Woods

Finally, some casting is going down for “>Cabin in the Woods, the Drew Goddard/Joss Whedon-penned horror film that Goddard will be making his directorial debut on.
THR got word that Richard Jenkins and Bradley Whitford have both signed on for the project, which is still shrouded in secrecy even to the trades. All we know is that Cabin will give a new twist to an old scenario; namely kids stuck in the woods.
“They’re the first proof that though The Cabin in the Woods is a classic horror film, it isn’t one you’ve seen before,” Whedon told THR. All we know about their characters is that they’ll play white collar co-workers who have some connection to the titular cabin.
MGM will have Cabin in the Woods in theaters February 5th, 2010; let’s see how long they can keep the plot secret!
