Remember the old days when we had to wait years for a series to show up on VHS? No, you probably don’t ... I’m dating myself a bit. Anyway, HBO has the first season of the cool vampire show set to street on May 12th, 2009, which is more than likely a few weeks before Season 2 will be airing. That’s some crafty marketing! And since we’re discussing TV on DVD, we recently got our hands on the art for “Friday the 13th: The Series Season Two”, which will be dropping to DVD on February 10th. As you can see, the skull is a bit more evil than it was on the art for the first season, indicative of how this series evolved. No word on what the specs for the second season will be but even if it's bare bones (and since it's Paramount you can pretty much expect it), it's still cool to finally have this show on DVD.
