Trick 'r Treat Still at WB
An interesting development went down yesterday that we’re still trying to get some kind of official details on one way or another. Warner Bros. sent out its fall preview to all us internet journalists, and though nothing specific was mentioned in terms of a release date, Mike Dougherty’s long-suffering Trick ‘r Treat was still on the list.
This obviously contradicts what’s been said since April, which is that Warner Bros. dumped the film and it was currently searching for a home. We did a story at the end of June in which Dougherty was quoted as saying that another distributor was interested but nothing had been set in stone yet; perhaps it was Warner Bros. deciding to give it another chance?
Whatever the case may be, Trick ‘r Treat is quickly becoming a debacle on the level of Cursed in the simple fact that no one seems to just want to get it in theaters and let us, the fans, decide if it’s good or not. Hopefully we’ll be hearing something solid (c’mon, would a Halloween release really be that bad, guys?) very soon and can finally put this one to bed.

Want to see the first three minutes of Alexandrea Aja’s Mirrors? Well, as long as you're 17 years of age or older, you can see it right now just by scrolling down a bit! The guys at IGN got their hands on this bit of red-banded goodness, and I have to say it looks very promising.

My guess is it was a typo that they missed because it's a horror movie, and who ever checks those things? *Rolls eyes*

This flick needs to be released already. I can't wait another year for it. I don't care when they release it (hopefully October). I just want to see it!
