Trick ‘r Treat Opens Screamfest!

Another new title has been added to this year’s Screamfest LA lineup, one that horror fans have been waiting over a year to finally see for themselves: Mike Dougherty’s “>Trick ‘r Treat! Yesterday I got a postcard in the mail with Friday, October 10th, listed as the premiere date for the film at Mann’s Chinese 6 Theatre, which means it’s opening the festival in style!
Dougherty will, of course, be on hand for a Q&A after the event, likely fielding the same “why is this film taking so long to get out?” question re-worded in dozens of different ways.
Other films showing up at Screamfest this year include “>The Burrowers, “>Parasomnia, Splinter, Acolytes and Dance of the Dead. Look for a full listing soon, and maybe they’ll even get around to updating the official Screamfest site someday, too!
