Train's Uncensored Trailer Chugs In
What is it with all these remakes of films that once starred Jamie Lee Curtis? On that note, what's with all these trailers today? Good god.
Anyway, Germboy sent us a link today to the uncensored trailer of Train, a somewhat/kinda remake of Terror Train. To me it just looks like Hostel on a Steam Engine ... but the gore does look plentiful and promising.
Train, which is in post production and should have an '08 release, stars Thora Birch, Gideon Emery, Kavan Reece and Gloria Votsis. The pic is directed and written by Killing Floor helmer Gideon Raff.
Be warned this trailer is NOT SAFE FOR WORK, but then again, is anything that we do ever safe for work?

NEXT STORY
Though we don’t have any solid details on it yet, a very reliable source just let us know that Lionsgate has plans to release Anthony (Waxwork, Hellraiser III) Hickox’s “lost” film, Sundown, on DVD this Halloween!

"It has endured censorship, sequelitis, bad computer effects and now bad remakes."
Don't forget whiny horror geeks.

Horror, in it's earliest form has been around since man could communicate - from cave drawings, to campfire stories to motion pictures.
It has endured censorship, sequelitis, bad computer effects and now bad remakes.
I doubt it's dead.
Horror is dead!

As soon as people start walking on top of trains, I know we are in the realms of implausibility - as for everything else, I was right there!!!

It can bee something I won't see. See that? It says "bee" and it has a picture of a bee on it!

Yes, horror is dead.
Horror is over.
No more horror movies.
A bad horror movie killed the genre.
Time to abandon ship, you rats.
When "Train" comes rolling into theaters, I won't choo-choo-choose it..

The trailer has an all-or-nothing attitude about it. We pretty much see who all will bite the big one and everything else. Millennium Films must have faith that the whole "torture porn" thing is still going on strong.
The comments on YouTube for the trailer are great. "Looks like a real horror movie." Yes, TDA is right ... horror is dead.

Looks just as boring as Hostel 2. Horror isn't dead, but it might be limping a little.

Yep, it's fucking "Hostel" on a fucking Train. I'll save my money, time, and brain cells.

Hostel on a Train is the best thing to describe this, definitely.
I like toward the end of the trailer that they use the Michael Bay-esque percussion music more suited to Will Smith driving a car at fast speeds or planes crashing.
