Trailer for Spanish Thriller King of the Hill

I’ll admit I hadn't heard of the Spanish film King of the Hill (El Rey de la Montana) until the trailer for it popped onto Twitch Film seemingly from nowhere, but from the sounds of it this is one to keep our eyes on.

King of the Hill follows a man driving through the remote Spanish countryside trying to track down his girlfiend. A run-in with a beautiful and alluring thief makes him give chase after her as well, but soon he’s hopelessly lost. A bullet in the engine block and an unseen attacker with a high-powered rifle only add to his miseries. From what I’ve read about King, though, just about the time you think you know what’s going on, the film becomes something far more important.

What that means is anyone’s guess, but the aforementioned trailer is more than worth a look so be sure to check it out below. Of course there’s no word on when the film will see release here, but the Weinsteins have their hands on it so I'm sure we'll be seeing it sooner or later. It’s on our radar now so we’ll be keeping you guys in the loop!
