I’ve been looking forward to hearing more about Giles Paquet-Brenner’s Walled In ever since I chatted with the film’s cinematographer, Karim Hussain (who also co-wrote The Abandoned and directed The Beautiful Beast), about it during the Boston Underground Film Festival. Finally I have been rewarded!
A trailer for Walled In found its way onto YouTube, which I take as a good sign that we’ll be seeing the entire movie soon. Mischa Barton stars as a demolition expert who is assigned the razing of a mysterious building and discovers the horrifying secrets buried in its foundations.
Hussain tantalizingly called the movie “architectural horror” when we were discussing it and had nothing but good things to say so maybe you’ll understand my excitement. If not, perhaps the trailer will help?
