Toy Fair 08: NECA's Gears of War!

NECA’s always been about the players, you know? No, not the playas, rather the players; video game players that is.
Their upcoming line of figures from Gears of War, possibly one of the most fun games I've ever played, is impressive to say the least, but then most of the fighters and monsters in the game were begging for a plastic reproduction anyway. Their newest addition, which Action Figure got some shots of at Toy Fair, is an alien in the midst of literally losing its head. And it's awesome.
Brilliant, really; it appeals to both my love of toys and my love of head explosions. Check out the full Gears of War photo gallery on A-F for a look at the rest of the figures in the line, none of which are nearly as cool as this one!

Toy Fair 08: Mezco's Cinema of Fear!All right, so NECA’s stuff is pretty cool, but I can’t help but geek out a bit for Mezco’s Cinema of Fear series. Looks like they’ll be back in force in 2008, as Action Figure just posted the first pics from the upcoming lineup.
Does this mean we'll get a kick ass two pack featuring Marcus chopping a Locust in half with the chainsaw gun?
