After the success of The Hills Have Eyes: The Beginning (review) the folks over at Fox Atomic Comics have turned their attention to more traditional horror tales to adapt into comic book form.
One of these such greats is author Thomas Ligotti and a series of stories about “clowns take part in a sinister winter festival, a scheming girlfriend makes reality itself come unraveled, a crumbling asylum’s destruction unleashes a greater horror, and a mysterious Teatro comes and goes, leaving only shattered dreams in its wake.” Each of these stories will be adapted by the best scribes in the comic book business: Stuart Moore and Joe Harris and illustrators Ben Templesmith, Ted McKeever, Colleen Doran, and Michael Gaydos.
HarperCollins will be publishing this tome and putting it out on the shelves across the country on September 4th. We will also be giving away a few of these comics in an upcoming contest! Details and such are still in the works, but keep it here to win some free swag!
