Insanity is the name of the game for the creators of The Machine Girl, who are primed to burst back onto the horror scene with their latest offering, Tokyo Gore Police, directed by Yoshihiro Nishimura.
If the title hasn’t already sold you, the film is about a cop (Audition‘s Eihi Shiina) who is forced into battle with a swarm of mutants created by a man-made virus. Versus star Tak Sakaguchi led the fight scenes in the film, which was scripted by the writer of Uzumaki, Kengo Kaji. What the hell else more do you need to want to see this right freakin’ now?
