Everyone needs an escape. You know, some distraction from the everyday world in which we are surrounded by idiots. Thankfully video games are around to help us get out our aggressions. Horror-themed software has sure come a long way. I remember playing Haunted House on the Atari 2600. For those of you too young to remember, that game featured something that looked like an eye navigating through random lines that were supposed to be a maze while trying to avoid something that looked like a candle. Yeah, it sounds pretty lame, but back then it was the shit.
All the more reason to appreciate this latest crop of next-gen genre fare. As a gamer, I pride myself on knowing when all the good stuff is coming out. While I have heard the name Bullet Witch get thrown around several times, I never knew what the game was. After sampling some of the latest screen shots, all I can say is, “Wow! What the hell have I been missing?!?”
Bullet Witch follows the exploits of a sexy chica who has some extraordinary powers. Think Bloodrayne with a magical high-powered assault rifle instead of swords and a thirst for blood. Our heroine is the human race’s last line of defense against hordes of flesh-wearing demons.
In short, hot babe + demons + huge guns and explosions = Fun for the whole family. Well, at least for the adult members of your families. Put the kids to bed, people! This one looks as if it’s gonna be really juicy!
