Thirteen Ghosts Writer Joins Studio 407
In a reversal of what we normally report here on the site, THR got word that comic company Studio 407 has hired screenwriter Neal Marshall Stevens to pen two new comic series for them.
Studio 407 has been making news left and right since signing a first-look deal with Myriad Pictures, but I have to admit this is the first time we’ve seen news of a new comic series without mention of film potential, though I’m sure it’s inherent at this point. Stevens will be penning the futuristic action thriller Havoc Bridgade and a horror adventure title called Demon Squad.
The latter is the story of a team of professional demon fighters who are sent in to clean up messes the creatures create, like a suicide epidemic in a small town.
Stevens has been responsible for the Thirteen Ghosts, Hellraiser: Deader and upcoming Amityville Tapes screenplays. The last one is a direct-to-DVD sequel to the 2005 remake. You can get more info on both Studio 407 titles and more at their official site.
