The Weinsteins Pick Up Giallo

This month sure has been full of news involving Dario Argento (“Argento Goes Giallo” – January 2008), and why not try to squeeze in a little more until February?

Screen Daily has informed us that the maestro's latest picture, Giallo starring The Brown Bunny's Vincent Gallo, has been picked up for distribution by The Weinstein Company. This isn't the only Argento film the Weinsteins have ahold of; Mother of Tears is also under their wing as far as the DVD release in concerned.

Giallo will "revolve around serial slashings of some very attractive women being investigated by a solitary cop (Ray Liotta), who engages in a cat-and-mouse game with the psychopathic perpetrator (Vincent Gallo)."
