The newest trailer for the second Mummy sequel appeared online this week (and across theatres nationwide with The Hulk) over at Rob Chohen's official blog.
It looks like mummies are not exclusive to Egypt as The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor takes us to the Far East, where a new evil and its army lie dormant until a familiar explorer botches things up.
The trailer looks like it's getting things done right this time around. As long as The Rock's head isn't put onto another insect body or any other silliness like that, this will probably be the best out of the three. We'll all find out on August 1st!

The first one sort of filled that void that was left in the adventure movie genre after Last Crusade. It wasn't a great movie but it was just fun.
The second Mummy film, however, just felt like a big cluster fuck. The whole Scorpion King bit really killed it.

It's got a Yeti, for God's sake! What more could you want? This one is making the 15 year old in me excited. You know, like those old shredded wheat ads. "But the kid in me loves the crappy movies".
