Tartan's Horrific May

Tartan has announced the two titles they will have on shelves this May, both of which are likely to make us horror fans pretty damn happy.

First up on May 8th is Arang, from Korea. A series of horrifying murders are the subject of an investigation by a veteran cop and her rookie assistant. But what should be a standard serial killer case takes on a supernatural twist when they make a connection between the recent string of killings and the death of someone a decade earlier in a salt house. Pretty soon the veteran is being terrorized by nightmarish visions of a dead girl and the mystery of how to stop her must be solved to stop the killings. Then on May 22nd the highly anticipated Thai film Dorm rolls onto U.S. shores. When 12-year old Chatree transfers to a new all-boys boarding school, he is miserable on almost every level as the teachers ignore him and his peers bully him. Pretty soon he makes one friend, though; a friend with a very strange and dark secret that will change everything young Chatree believed about the world around him.
