Stuck Shooting Begins
Things are rolling full steam for Stuart Gordon’s latest outing, Stuck, and the boys at B-D have learned that shooting has officially begun up in New Brunswick, Canada.
Stuck is the first film to be produced through newly revitalized Amicus Entertainment with a cast that includes Stephen Rea, Mena Suvari (pictured), Russell Hornsby, and Patrick McKeena. If you’re not familiar with the plot, it’s about a compassionate caregiver who accidentally hits a homeless man named Tom Bardo (Rea). The man is stuck in her windshield, and instead of taking him to an emergency room like she promises, which she believes would ruin her life, she decides to leave her car parked in her garage and let the man die, at which time she and her boyfriend Rashid (Hornsby) will dispose of the body.
Pretty fucked up, no? Even more so when you realize that it’s based on a true story. Amicus is also working on a horror film named Clown, about a demonic clown working with a dwarf who does nasty things at a seed carnival, set to be directed by Leprechaun helmer Mark Jones.
Give a big "Thanks for the ride, lady!" out to our forums!
