We just recieved some very good news for all you fans of stop-motion Poe adaptations!
What’s that you say? You’ve never seen any stop-motion Poe adaptations? That’s because no one’s tried it before Marc Lougee under the Ray Harryhausen Presents banner, and finally you can see the results for yourself!
Lougee’s “The Pit and the Pendulum” (review) will be debuting on DVD at this month’s Festival of Fear, going down in beautiful Toronto, ON, Canada. The disc, art for which you can see on your right, will come with the following goodies:

Actually there is another stop-motion Poe project out there -- George Higham's outstanding Annabel Lee, for which we have a review. I'm glad to see another one on its way as well.

I did an interview with George for this site a few years back when I visited his studio. Glad to see you dug Annabel Lee.
Last I heard from him he was doing 3D image tarot cards, involving some special photography of puppets he would create.
