Stop Motion Pit in Front of Boll's Siege!
What’s the best way to make sure the maximum amount of people see your short film? Put it in front of a Uwe Boll movie, of course!
Such is the logic behind Toronto After Dark’s placement of Marc Lougee’s stop motion "The Pit and Pendulum" short (review), which Lougee just let us know is screening in front of Boll’s In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale on Saturday, October 20th.
Of course no matter the subject matter, fans will flock to see anything Boll does just to see if it’s worse than the last thing (and I’ve heard King isn’t so bad), which works out very well for Lougee and his crew. If you’re making it out for the film on Saturday be sure to get there early!

A new Eden Log trailer has found its way online via YouTube, really the best place to find the latest and greatest video content. It doesn’t make a helluva lot of sense, but is still kinda cool nonetheless. The title refers to the company responsible for a series of underground paths and tunnels, which a man named Tolbiac must find his way through to escape a mysterious creature hot on his heels. Click here for the new Eden Log teaser and stay tuned for more info as it's acquired!

The short will undoubtely be better than the main attraction.

It's not a comedy, that's Postal you're thinking of. I mean, it may be unintentionally funny, but In the Name of the King is supposed to be Boll's answer to Lord of the Rings...

It's great to see this short get some play finally, but putting it in front of a rollicking comedy?!
I don't get it.
