Stone House Wraps, Plot Revealed

Stone House pic! With Alex (Dead Birds) Turner’s next film, The Stone House, now having wrapped shooting, we’re only a little closer to understanding what the film is about then we did the last time we reported on it (“Turner Clarifies Stone House”).

STYD got the full info on who stars in the film, though why it was not mentioned before I'm not sure. Brendan Miller (Accepted), Shane West (Dracula 2000), Aldis Hodge (Edmond), Leonard Roberts ("Heroes"), Theo Rossi (Last Resort) and Noel Gugliemi (2001 Maniacs: Beverly Hellbillies) fill the cast. Turner told Shock that the film was inspired by news reports of Iraqi museums being destroyed when we first went in to occupy, and how ignorant we are of their supernatural mythology.

”We're over there messing things we don't know about,” he told the site, ”So, the basic story here is these soldiers destroy this statue out of boredom and the next day they get a visitor."

Keep an eye out here and on the Stone House MySpace page for more as post-production gets under way. Do yourself a favor, if you’ve not already, and go get Dead Birds. It’s a helluva lot better than most of the DTV crap out there right now!
