I totally missed the Stir of Echoes boat in 1999. It looked interesting enough and Kevin Bacon seemed like a good fit, but something just felt off about it. I may be totally off in my assumption, but at least we know what to expect with the movie’s sequel that will be making its premiere on … the Sci-Fi Channel!
Today Fangoria got ahold of a few new stills for the film’s follow-up titled Stir of Echos: The Homecoming. No, it isn’t about a bunch of high schoolers going after Kevin Bacon for an autograph. Echoes 2 centers around an Army captain (Rob Lowe) who has returned home from the Iraq War to be greeted by nasty ghosts. Beats the flashbacks, in my opinion. Will the VA Hospital treat hauntings?
Click here and catch a glimpse of a few of the ghostly figures that will be appearing on August 11th. The make-up effects are eye catching if not a little cheap, but Sci-Fi and Lionsgate have burned us many times in the past.
