Snow Set for Clock Tower
After numerous delays, directorial changes, and times when it seemed like it’d be better to just not make the movie at all, Clock Tower is finally getting ready to go in front of cameras this November in Los Angeles. Variety reports that it has even found itself a lead: Brittany Snow.
Yeah, I know, not what one would call an incredibly intelligent casting choice, but when a project’s been around as long as this one has, it tends to get dumbed down. Hills Have Eyes 2 director Martin Weisz is still attached to direct the videogame adaptation, the story for which revolves around a troubled psych patient (Snow) who witnessed her parents’ brutal murder and is now plagued by religious imagery.
Snow, you may recall if you were bored or desperate enough to watch it, recently starred in the “remake” of Prom Night (review), one of the most universally hated horror films in recent memory. Hopefully, since Clock Tower’s got a bit more depth, she’ll do better this time around.
