Shyamalan, Dowdles & Devils!
Seeing as how the John Dowdle directed Quarantine (review) and M. Night Shyamalan's tale of deadly trees both failed to impress many of us, there's a good chance that combining the power of both filmmakers may produce something semi-quasi-somewhat amusing. Well, we're hoping, at least.
According to a story over at Variety, M. Night and the brothers Dowdle (John and Drew) are teaming up under the Night Chronicles banner to bring us Devil, a supernatural thriller based on a story by Shyamalan. Further details about the film's plot were not made available, but we do know that it will be PG-13! Oh joy!
At least it's not a remake, right?

Just a few weeks ago we found out that Autopsy and Dying Breed (review) were going to be part of After Dark Horrorfest III, but now we can finally say the announcement is official thanks to a press release from After Dark Film's CEO Courtney Solomon.

I think it's worth noting that Shyamalan's good movies were PG-13.
And his worst piece of shit was r-rated.
