It just figures. Now that all of the movies we’ve been waiting an eternity for are getting the DVD treatment, everyone’s singing the praises of Blu-Ray and HD-DVD. We’ll just never win I tell ya!
If you check out the calendar for the remaining DVD releases this year on DavisDVD.com you’ll notice that they have Richard Stanley’s punk rock sci-fi/horror splatter-fest Hardware listed as “To Be Announced“.
While obviously nothing is official as of yet, it’s still nice to see this film mentioned anywhere, especially on a release calendar. We’ll do some digging for you and let you know what we come up with. Hopefully this will get the same stellar treatment as Stanley’s other masterpiece, Dust Devil (review here).
