Shark Swarm Poster, Full Synopsis!

Shark Swarm poster! You may not remember the project known as Shark Swarm, but that’s more our fault than yours since we haven’t mentioned it in a while ("Hallmark Gets Shark a Swarm!" – July 2007). We’ll make it up to you guys now though, I promise!

First off, as you can see to the right the TV movie has its own poster which, while reminiscent of Open Water, but only because of its effectiveness in portraying a bad, bad situation. Which is exactly what the characters in Shark Swarm find themselves in...

There’s a full plot synopsis online now, as well, which you can check out at production company RHI Entertainment’s site. All you really need to know, though, is that it’s about a pack of great whites (!) that have been adversely affected by chemicals and now only kill for the love of killing.

Hallmark will air Shark Swarm sometime next year and even though the channel isn’t exactly know for its horror output, this sounds like something we’re gong to be tuning in for without a doubt. More as it comes in!

Heh. Ol' Truant is our very own e-stalker troll -- you know you're doing well in the biz when internet crazies start obsessing over you.

Truant, I was referring to the POSTER, not the movie itself being remniscent of Open Waters. Relax, man. And to be honest, I've read some of their other work before and genuinely enjoyed it, so I'm hoping Shark Swarm is as good.

Seriously you SHIT on better material, but you give this a free pass simply because you know the two "writers" of it. Fuck that man, keep your integrity. Why the fuck does a TV movie have a poster to begin with? Nothing about this project makes any sense at all, especially the fact that it is actually being covered here on DC. No other respectable horror site is touching this shit with a ten foot pole. I would over look your hypocrisy, Butane, if it wasn't for the fact that you shit all over better projects (Beowulf) before having seen it but then turn around and sugar coat every single word you say about this piece of shit that for all intents and purposes should be airing on the Sci Fi Channel.

"while reminiscent of Open Water, but only because of its effectiveness in portraying a bad, bad situation"

How the fuck do you know? You haven't seen it!

Good god.

"while reminiscent of Open Water, but only because of its effectiveness in portraying a bad, bad situation. Which is exactly what the characters in Shark Swarm find themselves in."

Which is a very nice way of saying "It rips off 'Open Water's plot point and poster. Then there is the whole thing about it ripping off the 70s flick "The Prophecy". And then there is the "Deep Blue Sea" element thrown in for good measure. If the derivative writers of this shit weren't tight with you guys, let's face it, Foy would be the one rightfully covering this.
