Fido takes place in an alternate reality of the 50’s in which the Earth has passed through a bit of “space dust,” which caused the dead to come back to life. The good news is that we quickly find a way to domesticate them, and one boy, Billy, becomes very attached to the titular ghoul. But when Fido starts eating the neighbors, something has to be done.
