Serkis Heads to The Cottage

Word came down via the trades this morning that Andy Serkis, known to many as the man who helped bring Gollum and King Kong to life through his motion capture work, is set to star in a black horror/comedy called The Cottage, this time wearing just normal clothes.
Serkis will star as one of two brothers who fumble the kidnapping of an underworld boss’s daughter and end up opening up a world of shit when they stumble upon a dark rural secret, specifically a psychopathic farmer with a taste for heinous fuckery most foul.
The Cottage is being helmed by London to Brighton director Paul Andrew Williams, who achieved critical success for his first film including a British Independent Film Award and Dinard’s Golden Hitchcock. Now that’s an award I want to see …it better be just a golden bust of Hitch.
