Uwe Boll has a lot of stuff sitting in the pipe line right now. Some may say he needs to be stopped, but I think we need to stand behind him. Boll may make very bad films, however, look at the other options out there; Ulli Lommel anyone?
Unlike Ulli, Uwe is learning from his mistakes … very slowly. From what we’ve heard so far his next film, Postal, is bad in a good way. Stack that next to Lommel’s films, which continue on a downward spin. When you lack talent you cannot cover it up with a budget that totals $5. At least Boll has big enough budgets that make them semi-watchable.
Ye god! I just stuck up for Dr. Boll. Must be the pain killers I needed to recover from Zombie Nation.
With that out of the way, let us get back to the topic of Seed. We last brought you news about the film’s first poster here, but if you head over to IMP Awards we can see that they have gotten a hold of a newer version of the Seed poster. It is a step up from the old one, but there’s something familiar about it. The new one-sheet does appear to be borrowing from the Jeepers Creepers adverts we saw years ago. This is Boll, though, so there is no point in complaining. Leave that dead horse alone.
