See The Red With Blu
The new format battles are finally starting to get their war chests ready as Warner Bros. releases many new Blu-ray DVDs this month.
Davis DVD has posted new high resolution images of the upcoming titles that include Corpse Bride and the House of Wax remake. I am not sure if the higher price tag is exactly worth it as I have still yet to see either of the new formats running side-by-side.
Lionsgate is also on the horror ball as far as high def DVDs are concerned. Their second wave of Blu-ray films includes Stir of Echoes and the unrated version of The Devil's Rejects. Good news, but it doesn't stop there; the third wave has Saw II and the uncut American Psycho.
Got a spare $1,000 or so? Go get yourself a Blu-ray player, or just wait until November and get Sony's high-end PS3 model that is around $600 since it also plays Blu-ray films and supports HDMI.
