SDCC 08: Dexter Murders the iPhone!

What could possible be far more exciting news than the third season of "Dexter"? How about a a video game based on the show that you can take anywhere?!

This just shot out of the "Dexter" panel at San Diego Comic-Con: a game is in development exclusively for Apple's iPhone and iPod Touch based on Showtime's hot TV series, "Dexter." The game will be paced like the show as in each chapter of the game will be available as the show on TV progresses.

Dexter will feature gesture based game play, somewhat like the Wii, but here you'll be much more immersed in the world. Players will have to make phone calls and place SMS messages in-game to get through each episode! Not a bad idea for a mobile game at all.
