Screamfest Gets a Transfusion
Everyone out there in the horror community can’t find the time to stop talking about a new indie zombie movie on its way called Automaton Transfusion. Those who have seen it have raved about it (aside from one of our DC staffers, who didn’t think it was that great and has a review coming soon), and it’s been getting the kind of buzz that almost instantly makes a movie a must-see for hardcore fans.
If you’re in L.A. and you "must see" it, then you’re in luck because tickets for its world premiere at Screamfest L.A. have just gone on sale over at the festival’s official site. While there, you can also snag tickets for Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon (which I HIGHLY recommend you do) and Hatchet (which I’m sure I’d also highly recommend if I’d seen it).
In other Transfusion news, Bloody Disgusting just found out from director Steven C. Miller that the film is being looked at by Lionsgate, Fox Atomic, and Dimension for possible release. That’s a pretty damn impressive list, don’t you think? The more we know, the more you will!
