WOW!!! I thought last year's show was an improvement but this? Holy shit! This thing just went straight to hell. Hopefully they will be screening some footage from upcoming movies (Please let there be some Wolf Man footage and possibly, Trick 'r Treat, but I doubt it).
I quadrouple (spelling?) that "Are fucking kidding me?". The best horror movies this year (in my opinion) were Midnight Meat Train, The Signal, and Inside. But yeah, tons of other cool shit got completely ignored. I'll still watch the show (with some hope of some awesome Wolf Man footage) but I'm prepared to be let down and pissed off.

AKA The Dark Knight awards. I'm so sick of that movie. It was good but come on guys, there were better this year.
I triple the "Are you fucking kidding me?"
The Signal, The Ruins, Inside, Cthulhu, Doomsday, Diary of the Dead and Jack Brooks get the shaft? Whatever. This is why Frank doesn't watch TV.

Jack Brooks did kick a lot of ass. I'm also upset there isn't anything about it.

The Scream - only if the kids have some chance of recognising someone who was in these movies - 2008 awards!
What a steaming pile of turd that list is... How can Rob Zombie's Crapoleen get yet another (undeserved) award when it was released in 2007? Oh hang on - That must be due to the release of the director's cut DVD this year - d'oh!
By the way... THE best line of the year (so far - because according to my calender we still have several weeks of 2008 left) is, 'I'm not a baby, I'm a tumor', from "Hellboy II: The Golden Army".

Hell yeah! That line dropped my jaw, then I howled like a loon.
Guillermo, you sick, magnificent man...

This is far from being a horror awards show. Teeth was the only legitimate horror movie on the list next to big budget additions Halloween and Res Evil. I think we need to hold our own pseudo awards show at the top of every year.

Best Horror Movie - Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber
......
Are you fucking kidding me?

I double that "Are you fucking kidding me?"

Didn't that HALLOWEEN pile of shit win all the awards LAST year?
People just aren't letting go of that atrocity.
