Saw VI Gets a Release Date
Even though the steaming carcass of poo known as Saw V is still haunting some theatres, Lionsgate is dead set on continuing the franchise whose best days seem to be over. So set in fact that they've announced an official release date for the next chapter.
That's right, kids, pencil in October 23, 2009 as the next date to hang with Jigsaw and friends on the big screen. The film will be directed by Saw franchise editor Kevin Greutert, who will be directing from a script by Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton.
At this rate Saw franchise set decorator Liesl Deslauriers will get to shine as the director soon enough. After all there are many more miles to get out of ... Mandylore. Mandylore. Costas Mandylore!
To date Saw V has grossed almost $80 million dollars worldwide. $53 million of that is domestic. We have no one to blame but ourselves.

I specifically avoided this movie at the cinemas (in Australia) out of anger that it was so easily released theatrically over here yet we miss out on dozens of great horror movies every year. Fuck SAW.

And all this time I thought I was the only one who had a bizarre fascination with the name Costas Mandylore.
