Salute to Supernatural Coming to LA

As far as this Woman is concerned, there’s no couple on TV with better chemistry than Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki, who portray demon-hunting brothers Dean and Sam Winchester in The CW’s “Supernatural.”
Thanks to the Writers’ Strike, fans of the show have been Winchester-less for the past several weeks, but I’m happy to report that, yes, the show will be returning. On April 24th to be exact — with four new episodes that will hopefully bring Season 3 to as satisfying a close as we were treated to at the end of Season 2. But if you live in the Los Angeles area, there’s no need to wait until late April to see the boys.
On March 29-30, 2008, Creation Entertainment will be bringing its Salute to Supernatural to the Marriott Los Angeles Airport complete with Ackles, Padalecki, Fredric (the Yellow-Eyed Demon) Lane, series creator Eric Kripke, and more. Currently it looks like Jensen and Jared will only be there on Sunday, but everything’s subject to change, so be sure to check Creation’s schedule for the show periodically to stay updated on times, guests, etc.
I’ll definitely be there and hope to see a lot of you in attendance as well. In the meantime, you can always revisit “Supernatural” Seasons 1 and 2 on DVD (reviews here and here, respectively) to whet your appetite for both the Salute to Supernatural and the show’s return next month.
