Rue Morgue Visits the Grindhouse
Those crazy canucks at Rue Morgue just sent on over a sneak peek at their next issue, #66, and it’s looking sleazy.
In celebration of the release of Grindhouse on April 6th, Rue Morgue managed to line up quite an impressive amount of interviews including Robert Rodriguez, Kurt Russell, Tom Savini, Eli Roght, Edgar Wright, Rob Zombie and got Bill Lustig to take a trip down memory lane in regards to 42nd street, New York’s former home of Grindhouse movies.
From there look for articles on 25 years of Skinny Puppy (wow, I feel old), one of the very first and most twisted examples of what came to be known as industrial music, a trip to Pooch Island, where there are a lot of acrylic monstrosities to tantalize and a chat with Lucky McKee and Angela Bettis about Roman (DVD review).
All that plus more blood on every page! Well, that may not be true but why not keep the grindhouse tradition of hyperbole alive? Get it on April 1st!
