Rogue Spills Blood

Rogue scoops up Blood on the TracksRogue Pictures have caught the whiff of blood in the air and, like the pack of rabid dogs they are, have thrown money at it to make it their own. Actually, that’s a weird analogy so let’s just move on, shall we?

This morning The Hollywood Reporter told us that Rogue just nabbed the film rights to an upcoming vampire comic called Blood on the Tracks. The story, which is uncomfortably similar to the classic Skipp & Spectgor splatterpunk novel Light at the End, tells of a series of brutal murders being committed on the NYC subway which police believe to be the work of a madman. Instead, it is discovered to be another pesky vampire, one who’s made the subway his home for centuries.

Rogue have also preemptively tapped the Cavite writing/directing team of Neil Dela Llana and Ian Gamazon to handle the same duties on the adaptation. The comic book is being done by Bite Club writer David Tischman, with art handled by Phillip Bond. As soon as we hear more on both we’ll let you know!
