Resident Evil Convoy

Seems like everyone and their mother wants to have some kind of hand in bringing the dead back to life, but it’s hard to argue that the Resident Evil series, both game and (to a lesser extent) the movies, has been the most successful.

But how strange is it that a movie (loosely) based on a game would then turn around and create a game to promote the movie? The mind reels just trying to make it make sense, no?

If you’re looking forward to Resident Evil: Extinction (reportedly the last movie in the franchise), here’s a good way to kill some time (pun intended) before the sequel hits theaters on September 21st. Just head on over the official Resident Evil: Extinction site to check our their new convoy game, based on events in the movie, where you can both drive and shoot down the dead (though not at the same time). The controls are a little frustrating, but I’ll be damned if it’s not addictive. Give it a shot!
