Jack wants to know; so you think you like An American Werewolf in London, do ya? Think you’re a big fan of the flick? I know I am and I have the tattoo(s) to prove it. But are you a big enough fan that you’d travel the world just to talk to the people who were involved in its creation?

Thankfully you’re not, or you’d have already created the documentary we received fresh word on today, Beware the Moon: Remembering An American Werewolf in London. The brainchild of Horror Hound writer Paul Davis, the documentary promises to be one of the most comprehensive looks at the movie most consider to be the best werewolf film ever created.

Shooting is expected to start up on March 8th at the London Zoo with a setup inside the actual Slaughtered Lamb (not the one in New York) on the 11th. So far they’ve been able to confirm interviews with actors John Woodvine (Dr. Hirsch) and Brenda Cavendish (victim Judith Brown) with the more significant thespians (namely David Naughton, Griffin Dunne and Jenny Agutter) still in talks.

Yes, even the man who made it all possible, John Landis, is chatting with the fellows to make Beware the Moon your one stop for all the background on An American Werewolf in London you could ever want to know … and likely a lot more.

You can learn a lot more about Beware the Moon on its MySpace page, and keep your eyeballs here for updates as we learn them!
