REC DVD Arrives in May … in Spain

The U.S. remake of REC (review) isn’t due out till October 17th, so does that mean we have to wait that long to see the original on DVD? Nope!

Well, that is if you live in Spain. You see, on May 28th the Paco Plaza and Jaume Balaguero directed cinéma-vérité horror flick is going to get three different versions released over there. There’s no news yet as to when we’ll see a region 1 DVD here, but the good news is that ones hitting stores in Spain will have English subtitles. So, those horror fans with multi-region players can easily import the DVD or Blu-ray!

This news came down today from Twitch where the special features were listed for all three versions of the film. The art for the two-disc set can be seen over at Zonda DVD. Here’s a list of what will be available on each SKU:
