Ramirez to Hunt Satanists in Jaguar

The Bourne Ultimatum star Edgar Ramirez is prepping to question his faith for a lead role in Viene el Jaguar, a new thriller being produced by Antorcha Films according to this morning’s Variety.
Ramirez will play a tortured former priest who is chasing down an exorcist in the Colombian jungle. The story is based around the recent discovery that some underage Colombians were painting their nails black, practicing Satanic rites and feasting on human flesh to get rid of the spirits of villagers they had killed.
Dog Eat Dog helmer Carlos Moreno will direct from a script he co-wrote with his partner on that film, Alonso Torres. I wonder if they’re basing this all in reality or if there’ll actually be a Satanic presence when all is said and done…
