Quaid, Foster on Alvart's Pandorum
Imagine this scenario: You wake up, unsure of who you are or what has happened. Slowly you come to the realization that not only are you not where you fell asleep, you’re actually in a spaceship hurtling through the stars. And then you get around to finding something that may threaten mankind as a whole, just to make matter more interesting. Welcome to Pandorum.
Variety learned this morning that Dennis Quaid and Ben Foster have signed on to star in the sci-fi thriller, which is set to be helmed by Antibodies (review) director Christian Alvart with Constantin Film and Overture Films overseeing production.
Pandorum is being produced by Paul W.S. Anderson along with the rest of the team behind Resident Evil: Extinction, with shooting set to start in August in Berlin. Hopefully Anderson won’t taint the project too much and leave Alvert to his own devices.
