Believe it or not, PS2 games are still coming out at a pretty healthy pace, and Konami just sent along word that the rather brilliant Silent Hill 0rigins (review) is heading to the PS2. Sure, it's pretty common for a PSP game to end up on the PS2, but given that the majority of Silent Hill players own PS2s, I'm sure there are a lot of you out there excited to know that you don't have to buy a PSP in order to play the Silent Hill series' return to form.
Climax UK did an amazing job on the prequel, which takes gamers back to Silent Hill once again, stopping off at a few locations that will be familiar to players, as well as exploring some new areas. Since the game already looked about as good as the PS2 versions of the game, it should translate rather nicely to your TV screen.
While we haven't been given a release date yet, you should check out our review to see what the excitement is about.
